Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is about more than working out a few knots. Muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue all play a role in how you move, how you feel, and how well your body handles everything you ask it to do. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, feeling the effects of work or workouts, or carrying tension that just refuses to take the hint, treatment is tailored to what’s going on with your body. Massage therapy can incorporate a variety of techniques depending on your needs, goals and assessment findings. Sometimes we’re working on a very specific problem. Sometimes the goal is improving movement or managing an ongoing issue. And sometimes you just want to relax for an hour—and you absolutely don’t need an injury or a reason to do that. Different bodies. Different goals. Different treatment. That’s kind of the point.

Book NowTreatment that makes sense for you
There’s no standard massage routine here. Your treatment is based on your goals, your assessment, and what’s going on with your body—not a predetermined sequence that everyone gets.
Assessment helps me figure out what may be contributing to the problem, not just where you happen to feel it. From there, treatment may focus on a specific area, involve related muscles and structures, or take a broader approach depending on what we find and what you’re hoping to accomplish.
Treatment also changes as you change. We’ll reassess, adjust the plan when needed, and add realistic home care when it’s useful. The goal isn’t to give you a pile of homework or keep you coming in forever—it’s to help you feel better, move better, and keep doing the things you want to do.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy changes your body—a lot. As your body adapts, things that never bothered you before can suddenly have some very strong opinions. Massage therapy can help with the aches, tension and general discomfort that can come along with pregnancy, while treatment is adapted to your changing body and comfort throughout each stage.
I have additional training and extensive experience in pregnancy and postpartum massage, including working with both low- and high-risk pregnancies and multiples. Treatment is always based on you—where you are in your pregnancy or postpartum recovery, how you’re feeling, and what your body needs that day.
Comfort is a priority. Positioning and bolstering are adjusted throughout pregnancy so you can actually relax and feel supported during treatment—because getting comfortable while pregnant can sometimes feel like an Olympic event.
Whether we’re addressing a specific concern or you just really need an hour where nobody needs anything from you, treatment is tailored to where you’re at.
