Cancellations & Late Arrivals

Your time is scheduled just for YOU.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Illness
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible and no later 24 hours PRIOR to your appointment time.

I maintain a waitlist for clients hoping to get in sooner, so the more notice I have, the better chance I have of filling your appointment.

If you can’t make it, please contact me rather than sending someone in your place. Appointments are booked for individual clients, and required health history and consent information needs to be completed before treatment. This also allows me to offer the opening to someone already waiting for an appointment.

If you’re unwell, please don’t come in. I really don’t want to get sick either—and as a one-person practice, the ripple effect is significant. If I can’t work, it can mean cancelling an entire day (or more) of clients.

Cancellations after the deadline and missed appointments are charged the full appointment fee, including illness-related cancellations and cancellations made the morning of your appointment. Insurance receipts cannot be issued for missed or cancelled appointments.

Masks are optional, and I’m always happy to wear one during your treatment if you prefer.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, we’ll make the most of the time remaining, but your appointment will still end at the scheduled time and the full appointment fee will apply.

Payment & Insurance
Payment is due at the time of treatment. E-transfer is preferred; Visa, Mastercard and American Express are also accepted. Receipts are provided for insurance reimbursement, and electronic claim submission may be available depending on your plan.

Messages
Because I’m with clients throughout the day, calls, texts and emails are checked between appointments and shortly before the start of my workday. Cancellation notice is based on when your message was sent, not when I’m able to respond.
